A very early example of the International Scout, this 1961 Scout 80 has undergone a thorough restomod style build. Now powered by a 2.3L I-4 Turbocharged EcoBoost, this truck is a blast to drive. 310 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque are pushed to the ground via a four speed automatic transmission and optional four wheel drive. The custom exhaust system provides a great sound and gives a subtle, but great noise from the turbo. Braking is provided by powered disc brakes on all four corners. Underneath, the frame was sandblasted and powder coated to keep it looking good. A custom suspension package was installed for better ride and more clearance, and a Jeep JK steering box was installed. Open Range tires on the white painted wheels are in good condition and show plenty of tread life left. Inside, the leather seating was refinished in a matching blue and cream color with dark blue carpeting. The new gauges appear to operate as they should and the digital odometer currently reads 718 miles.
